3A, 16”, ball tip, venom grip. Love these sticks! The venom grip gets better as you play. No need to wrap the whole grip area. All I have to do is wrap the ends about an inch and a half. That’s just an ending point for me. Thanks!
I’m loving these sticks. The Venom Grip is durable, the sticks have some extra girth at the tip that is new to me but it feels great & provides extra power. I hope they also come out with a nylon tipped version

This model was too long for me. Yet they are superbly balanced and feel great in my hand. I’m going to try some other models and the models with the grip treatment.

The 8D sticks have a nice feel and balance. I am still acclimating to the tactile feel of the grip but like them. I plan to try the venom grip on my next order. And there will be a next order!
Clearly the most options ever from a drum stick company. Plus they hold up to brutal rimshots! I will never go back to the “ big” brands again!
I have been playing Neil Peart Pro-Mark 747’s my entire drumming life. Until now, it was the only stick I would ever use. But these Scorpion Immortal Series 8D’s are the closest thing I have ever used that gets near the perfection of the Neil Peart stick. They are similarly weighted and are also available in the similar length to the 747. And the big selling point for me is the customization…. My actual signature and the branding of the logos of the bands I play for and with makes the sticks very personal to and for me. And so now…. after 35 years…. I have a new “go-to” stick for my playing needs. I will still play the NP 747’s….. but they are now secondary to MY sticks.

The 5A is a nice stick. Well balanced, a bit heavier than other 5A sticks I’ve used. While this is really a well made stick, I’ve found nothing extraordinary about it that would make me want to switch from the brand I’m currently using.
Of course, this is all a matter of taste and, for some, economy.

I like the feel of the grip. You may want to tape your fingers till you get used to it. I ordered the 3B as well. So far after a 4 hour session they last longer than the other brands I’ve tried.
After 53 years of trial and error. I finally hit a bullseye with these Venom Grip 5A.
These are the most well balanced and the straightest sticks I’ve ever used. I would call them flawless.

I’ve been looking for a 17” stick to use during gigs. I have the sticks for me! I’m a small guy so the extra reach helps me move around the kit easily. I will definitely be purchasing more with my signature. Very durable sticks!
Great feeling stick! I thought I was getting a 16 1/2” length stick, instead I got a 16” length stick(!) typo on the sticks maybe? Wish I could send em back for the correct length!

Thanks for sending me the Immortal 2B sticks to try out. My first impression pros and cons: Pros - the sticks look good and are very durable. Cons - The sticks are too heavy for my taste and also the taper is too long. Before they went out of business, I was endorsed with Silverfox Drumsticks and I used their Boston Basher series (very close to the Scorpion 2B dimensions), and I found them to be extremely well balanced and light-weight with a perfect taper. Those sticks were also nearly indestructible which is great, but they are gone now so it's time to focus on moving forward with a new brand. The heavy weighted feel of the Scorpion sticks I have are, unfortunately, a deal breaker. I don't know the science of making the perfect sticks but I'm trying to figure out if it's just heavier wood or something? All I know is it affects my playing style negatively so it won't work for me. I'm open to any ideas on how this can be improved though. Thanks for the opportunity to leave an honest review.
