Love these 8D sticks!! Apart from being the size/shape I like, they are DURABLE! They bounce well and hold up against heavy rim-shotting. Highly recommend!!
If you like buying stuff and not having that feeling like well this probably won't last long then buy Scorpion. They just feel different. If you hold a stick from Scorpion in one hand and a stick from another maker you will know the difference. They also hold up to some pretty hard hitting and can usually last an entire gig. You won't regret spending your cash on these.
Normally I’d give 5 stars but I didn’t really like the diameter on the 3A I was hoping I could get something like a Vater fatback but choose a different tip but it just doesn’t feel like the fatback. The fatback’s diameter is just a little thicker at .590. It makes more difference then I realized when you get sticks a bit thinner. They are still great as far as durability and design.
Love these Scorpion sticks. They feel great and way more durable than the other “name brand” I’ve been using for decades. Can’t recommend them enough.
