ABOUT SCORPION PERCUSSION
In 2008, a drummer named Dan Anderson started down a path to make a better drumstick. Drumsticks that had feel, a great response, soulful tone, and were durable. His vision and passion drove him to build his own small CNC machine that sat upon mom's kitchen table where he crafted one stick every seven minutes. After years of trial and error and honing the craft, investing his life savings and countless hours of time, word began to spread throughout the circles and around town. There was a new stick maker in town..
Doug "Smitty" Smith (Owner & CEO) was introduced to Dan in 2017. In early 2018, after multiple business discussions and a shop tour, the two joined forces to bring Scorpion Percussion to the World. Doug Smith is a 10-year US Navy veteran and Chief Petty Officer. He is a father of 3, plays bass for the American metal band QUOR, and works closely with Dirtbag Clothing as COO, Marketing and A&R boss. He is best known for his tireless and methodical work ethic, attention to detail, and leadership...
Scorpion Percussion was established in 2008.

We are a veteran and musician owned small business that specializes in offering premium drumsticks called the Immortal Series. No other drumstick on the market goes through a more rigorous production, sorting and inspection process.
IMMORTAL SERIES
A white hickory grown in Tennessee, manufactured and produced with one goal in mind; becoming immortal.
The Immortal Series drumstick line by Scorpion Percussion is a premium line of white hickory dowels, kiln dried, milled by grinders, sorted for crossgrain, dead and low tones, weight and pitch paired by magical elves in sunny San Diego. The Immortal Series is crafted by and experiences the best parts of modern drumstick manufacturing. It is a product of some of the highest QC tolerances and standards in the business.
Immortal Series drumsticks are for the drummer who wants that extra weight, feel, and durability, but doesn't want to pay oak prices. Also for those who want a longer lasting stick that just plays and sounds better.
Rehearsal Series
Rehearsal Series drumsticks are the second quality sticks didn't make the Immortal Series cut. Still great sticks, still playable, just have things like weird weights, tone, misprints, etc. We sell them at a discounted rate of $6/pr and quite often do sales for less than $5/pr. Keep your eyes peeled for a B Stock Blowout!
Rehearsal Series drumsticks are for the drummer on a budget or a drummer who doesn't care about all the details and just wants some cheap lumber. They also pair well with a drummer who wants to sell their signature sticks to a fan at the merch booth, or just to have as giveaways or gifts. Why giveaway your Immortal Series?
