Scorpion Percussion is a veteran and musician owned drumstick manufacturing company based in San Diego, CA. We specialize in producing 2 series of drumsticks; Immortal Series (A Stock) and Rehearsal Series (B Stock). In the pursuit of quality over quantity, Immortal Series drumsticks were born and are the most quality controlled and scrutinized sticks in the market. We are a veteran and musician owned small business that specializes in offering premium drumsticks called the Immortal Series. No other drumstick on the market goes through a more rigorous production, sorting and inspection process.  

A white hickory grown in Tennessee, manufactured and produced with one goal in mind; becoming immortal. 

The Immortal Series drumstick line by Scorpion Percussion is a premium line of white hickory dowels, kiln dried, milled by grinders, sorted for crossgrain, dead and low tones, weight and pitch paired by magical elves in sunny San Diego. The Immortal Series is crafted by and experiences the best parts of modern drumstick manufacturing.  It is a product of some of the highest QC tolerances and standards in the business.

Immortal Series drumsticks are for the drummer who wants that extra weight, feel, and durability, but doesn't want to pay oak prices. Also for those who want a longer lasting stick that just plays and sounds better.  

Immortality is a fantastical, mythical concept. We use the word "Immortal" to illustrate that our drumsticks are more durable than the other brands'. Reality dictates that everyone one day perish; though some will be remembered longer than others, everything and everyone will one day cease to exist.

Rehearsal Series drumsticks are the second quality sticks didn't make the Immortal Series cut. Still great sticks, still playable, just have things like weird weights, tone, misprints, etc. We sell them at a discounted rate of $6.99/pr and quite often run sales for less than $5/pr. Rehearsal Series drumsticks are for the drummer on a budget or a drummer who doesn't care about all the details and just wants some cheap lumber. They also pair well with a drummer who wants to sell their signature sticks to a fan at the merch booth, or just to have as giveaways or gifts. Why giveaway your Immortal Series?

Signature customization is our in house ability to print your signature, artwork, logo, name in a printed font or other graphics on to your Immortal Series sticks. It is also the process of becoming a Scorpion Percussion Signature Artist. Those that are willing to put their signature behind something deserve the best. 

Signature Artists enjoy additional perks such as a profiles on our website, cross promotional opportunities, affiliate marketing, better discounts, access to limited merchandise runs, and company resources. They get invited to events like Chicago Drumshow, NAMM, festivals, shows, and other company gatherings. They are the lifeline and shareholders of this company.

1. 12 pairs minimum. Discounts are based heavily on quantities and higher volume orders.
2. Setup and print fees are included with the per pair pricing. 
3. Once your art is approved, there is a $50 setup fee to make any changes to it.
4. All signature artists will receive a proof to approve prior to printing for each order.
5. The artwork setup process is very specific and requires a certain quality of raw file in order to get a great final print. Art submission requirements are below.

1. We print black ink only. Raw graphics and logos need to be solid black lines on a white background.
2. There can be no textures or gradients. Solid black lines only.
3. We require 300dpi / high resolution art minimum. Screenshots will NOT work. The printable area on a drumstick is relatively small (.5" x 2 7/8")
4. Accepted file formats  .PDF / .PSD / .AI / High Res .JPG
5.To submit an actual signature, please sign a piece of white paper with a good sharpie and take a well lit and focused photo of it.
6. Our laser and printing equipment can handle a good amount of detail in your design, however there are limitations. Too many super fine lines and lines on top of lines, don't translate well to ink. Simple is always better.

Yes! For a $50 fee, our in house graphics designers can work closely with you to design up a cool graphic or image that will print well and represent you to the fullest.

Yes. Yes you will. We will email you a Dropbox link to your art proof once we are ready to proceed with printing.

Production times for initial signature orders is 14 days. For reorders, we require 7 days to produce your custom signature sticks. These times do not include shipping which generally takes an additional 2-3 days. We also offer an expedited production service that offers our customers "Head of the line" priviledges for a $50 fee. You pay $50 and your order is next; no matter how many people are in front of you.

Yes! We offer our expedited production service for a $50 fee. For an additional $50, your order goes to the head of the line and automatically becomes next in line regardless of many other orders there are.  

Yes! For an additional $50 setup fee for the 2nd logo and an additional $2.50/pr we can double print sticks.

Artist profiles on our website are currently reserved for Brand Ambassadors and Signature Artists only. If this is you, please fill out our Artist Page Submission Form. We upload artist profiles to our site in batches every month. Once your page is live, we will email you the link for review and promotion.

Yes! There are a lot of our artists who sell their branded Rehearsal Series on their websites to their fans or at the merch booth during shows. Artists also commonly use the Rehearsal Series (B stock) to throw off stage into the crowd or giveaway as gifts. Instead of throwing out their custom Immortal Series. We offer the ability to print your custom art on Rehearsal Series for an additional $2.50/pr.

Shipping is determined at checkout by the customer depending on what carrier is selected.
For international Scorpions, taxes and customs fees are NOT included.

 We do our own fulfillment and shipping management. It is an important part of our customer experience and we want it to be easy for you. If your order is placed Monday-Thursday, it will ship within 48hrs. Venom Grip orders up to 72hrs. Most orders go out within 24hrs. 

If your order is placed Friday prior to 2pm PST, the order will be shipped Monday. Sometimes, we ship on Saturdays. 

Once orders are fulfilled, customers will receive a shipping confirmation email (Check your spam). The email will include order and tracking information.

International orders should expect 10-14 days delivery time. Please check with your local carrier and customs agencies for package holds and pick ups.

Order Date = The day you paid for the order
Fufillment Date = The date we sealed up the shipping box
Ship Date = The date the shipping carrier scanned the package and accepted it at pick up.
Delivery Date = The best date

You will receive a shipping confirmation via email containing tracking information for your order. Don't forget to check those spam folders.

We only ship orders with PO Boxes and FPO/AP addresses using USPS Standard shipping. We are unable to expedite any of these orders through other carriers.

We ship internationally primarily using DHL. We ship to over 125 countries.

International shipping is calculated based on the destination country and weight of the products. We recommend customers take advatnage of our DHL Worldwide shipping rates for all international orders. DHL provides up to date tracking information to your doorstep, where USPS may not. Duties and customers tariffs are set by the destination country's authorities based on a combination of things including the country of origin, manufacturing of the goods purchased, and the classification of that merchandise. International taxes such as VAT are set by the destination country.

The customs authority in your country may require a payment of duty or tax before releasing your package.

You may return any brand new item unused within 30 days. The item must be in full retail condition. Upon our shop receiving and inspecting the item, you will be eligible for a refund up to the amount of the item. NOT including any shipping fees. Refunds post 1-3 business days after they are issued. You will be notified by email once a refund is issued.

We do not provide returns or exchanges on international orders. If there is an issue with your international order, please email us at customerservice@scorpionpercussion.com and we will work to resolve it.

We accept exchanges on any item for equal or lesser value and full retail condition. If the exchange is due to customer error, the customer will be required to pay for return shipping in an additional invoice. If we mess it up, shipping is on the house.

Pack and seal your box securely and in original packaging if possible. Please drop off your package to the nearest shipping carrier office near you. We'll process the return or exchange upon reception and inspection.

Scorpion Percussion is not responsible for return merchandise lost during shipping. Packages must be returned prepaid.

1-3 business days after inspection and issuance. You will be notified via email once a refund is issued.
