Best f------ stcks I've used.

The weight and feel are outstanding. The venom grip costs a little more, but you know where the money went. And they're durable AF. As long as Scorpion makes sticks, I will be a loyal customer.

These are the best sticks you can buy

I've tried Pro-Mark, Ahead, Zildjian, Vater and Silverfox sticks over the years, but came to be a Vic-Firth hardo for the longest period of that time. I switched to Scorpion when I started seeing them online and at shows where my favorite drummers were using them.

When I started practicing push-pull I needed more volume out of the pad or drum head, and a big old pair of Vic Firth Corps master marching sticks wouldn't cut it. The weight of the marching stick was good to learn the fundamental of the motion, but I felt the length was too short. Even the 5B Extremes weren't heavy or long enough to get to my desired feel, and they don't make a 2B extreme.

After trying a pair from a local drummer, and seeing that this 17" length is pretty much the longest stick you can get on the market I had to try them. I noticed a difference instantly and my progress with push-pull has come very far! I went from about 190bpm to just over 245bpm in a relatively short amount of time. I feel like that is partly really understanding the hand technique, but the rest is having the proper weighted and long enough stick to throw. Every pair seems to be just as good as the last and the stick holds together for a very long time even if you rim-shot a lot. Even regular wrist technique seems to be much smoother overall with this stick.

Thanks for making killer sticks Scorpion!

I'm very impressed

I wanted to wait to review these sticks until I had time to put them through several rehearsals and at least one gig. I picked up these and a few rehearsal sets and I'm very impressed. I've been a long-time Vic player, but I find they don't hold up very well. Part of that is because I'm a metal drummer and beat the crap out of my kit. Scorpions have held up INCREADBLY well! I've found the rehearsal variants are slightly lighter but still very durable. The immortals are perfect. Scorpion Percussion and these sticks deserve a great deal more attention as their quality is blowing the "big-name" brands out of the water!

5BV Laquer. Great sticks!!

As soon as I received my sticks, I got a call to fill in for a hard rock/metal gig, playing many covers. In the throne for 4 hours, my 5BV Lacquers had me playing above my level, sounding good on my Remo-shod Sonor 5 piece kit, and the stick definition on my A Zildjian cymbals was on point. I NEVER play butt end, and the enlarged oval tips gave me all the impact I needed. 4 encores at 1:30 am tells how well the gig went!! Balanced, durable, loud, and fun to play, I LOVE my 5bv's!! Great sticks!!
