Every time I gig or practice, I usually have a bag sitting behind my throne for my gear and a water bottle on the floor. I’ve looked at other drummers’ setups to see what they were using, but nothing really seemed like a better solution.
About three weeks ago, I purchased the Scorpion Caddy, and it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. It has a spot for my phone, wallet, earbuds, water bottle, and extra sticks — everything I need within easy reach.

It's nice being able to reach over at arms length and conveniently grab a sip of water between songs or glance at the time on my phone or simply just use it to hold my personal items during the performance. A very useful addition to my setup, indeed.
These may have a little more swing weight at the shoulder, but for long gigs, less breaking and more music making!

This is my first pair of Scorpion sticks and I must say... I am pleasantly impressed. The sticks feel good and have a nice "crack" to them. The venom grip does take some getting used to though as I developed slight blistering after a 4 hour set. The fingers definitely need to adapt to the grip and when doing rim knocks the grip dip for some reason would leave a slight residue on my drum. No biggie though. I am enjoying this pair so far and want to try different pairs before creating my signature sticks. Thank you Scorpion Percussion!
What can be said about Scorpion Percussion that hasn't been said before? They are simply perfect. The feel. The balance. The quality. The durability. Everything.
