Landar, better known as Tharapz, is a drummer from Senja in Norway. He comes from a long line of musicians, and was taught by his father how to play drums at the age of 9, and has been going strong ever since. His biggest influences are drummers of various metal genres, like power metal, melodic death metal, alternative metal etc. He has played in a handful of bands, though with only a few single releases under his belt from various projects. He suffered a painful injury, destroying several nerves in his left hand in 2018, where doctors were unsure if he'd be able to play drums again. But through determination and perseverance, Landar worked hard in physiotherapy to regain the strength and mobility in his hand so he could keep doing what he loved. Quitting was never an option. Nowadays, Landar focuses mainly as a streamer on Twitch, where he plays horrorgames and drums under the alias Tharapz, while working on a bandproject on the side. With music being his deepest passion, it's safe to say he will never stop playing drums.
