"Kelton Richmond was born on August 18, 1988 in Houston, Texas. By the early age
of 2 he began to show interest in drumming and continued his talents throughout his school life. While in college, Kelton was involved in the San Jacinto College jazz band and began a new endeavor as a Percussion Instructor at multiple schools in the Houston area. While teaching, he landed a gig with Latin Christian artist, Lily Goodman, and began traveling frequently in the Latin American countries for 7 years. Kelton transitioned to teach percussion full time as an instructor and
specialist at the following schools; Lamar High school, Cypress Park High school, Eisenhower High School, Hichcock High school, Cypress Ranch High school and many others. He successfully created a unique and unified Percussion section at each school. During his transition Kelton also marched for the Alliance drum and bugle corp in the summer of 2016 and played on the drumline of the Houston Texans. Currently, Kelton plays drums for Inspire Church and recently created a YouTube channel to share his passion and talent with the world. In 2018, Kelton also received his Bachelor of Science in Music Production/Composition from Full Sail University and in April 2021 he will receive his Masters degree in New Media Journalism as a Videographer/Photographer. He is married to his lovely wife, Ashley of 7 years and has two daughters, Kaniyah (12yrs.) and Aramis(2yrs.)"
