Kelly Long is a seasoned drummer from Idaho whose style fuses rock power, precise groove, and a touch of Celtic rhythmic influence gained from his time performing in tribal Celtic projects. Before joining Rusty Halos, he spent years in the rock scene, most notably with The Fallen Idols, performing on the Rockstar Uproar Festival and sharing stages with bands like Godsmack, Staind, Alice in Chains, and others. Today, Kelly brings that same energy and versatility to Rusty Halos, a red dirt country/rock band that has opened for BlackHawk and is scheduled to support Neal McCoy, The Marshall Tucker Band, and Rodney Atkins in 2026. He also performs with SummerSchool Dropouts and continues to take on studio and session work for artists across multiple genres. Rooted in rock, shaped by diverse influences, and committed to elevating every project he joins, Kelly is proud to be a Scorpion Percussion Signature Artist
