Jake has been hammering the drums since the age of 14, now with over 20 years of experience behind the kit. Proudly born and raised in Savannah, GA, Jake currently plays drums for Savannah’s own SLINGBLADE, a sludgecore band known for their crushing riffs and heavy, raw sound. His hard-hitting style and relentless energy drive SLINGBLADE’s powerful rhythm section, making every show an intense experience. Jake exhibits a deep passion for music with a wide-variety of musical influences ranging from Metallica, Gojira, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Deftones, Johnny Cash, J. Cole, and everything in-between. Powered by a dedication to his craft and violently energetic stage presence, Jake continues to push the limits…relying on Scorpion Percussion sticks to withstand the punishment of every performance.
