Steve Adorno (also known as Stevie "Beatz" Adorno) is a veteran New York City drummer, songwriter, and music producer with a career spanning over 50 years. He is widely recognized for his versatility across R&B, disco, Latin rock, and jazz fusion, originating as a pioneer of the early South Bronx dance music scene. Major Musical Career Highlights: Early Disco Pioneers: At age 16, he and his wife, MCA recording artist LORI ROSE, co-founded the Bronx teenage R&B/disco group "Devoshun". Their track "No No No My Friend" on SMI RECORDS was named one of Billboard's "Essential Disco Discs of 1976". GQ: In 1980, Adorno joined the platinum-selling Arista Records R&B group GQ. He earned gold and platinum certifications for his drumming on major hits like "Disco Nights".
