A DC-based heavy metal band with elements of Prog, Doom, Melodic Death and Goth. Formed in the late 90s, Circle of Nero released its first full release Massive Obliss in 1999. Nero's 2004 sophomore release, Brutal Harvest, cemented the band's sound, combining diverse European and American heavy musical influences to create a unique sonic soundscape. Circle of Nero's music has been featured worldwide on multiple internet radio stations, a movie soundtrack, and currently featured in the critically acclaimed psychological docu-horror series Spooky Kisses Haunts. Circle of Nero has performed in a number of regional heavy metal music festivals and has opened for many national and international recording artists including Soilwork, Yngwie Malmsteen, Overkill, Dark Tranquility, Ripper Owens Beyond Fear, Jon Oliva's Pain, The Bronx Casket Co., and more.
