During Ernie Longoria’s career as a professional drummer & musician, he has had multiple album releases, both on major and indie labels. He has recorded and toured with numerous projects, including Sprung Monkey, platinum recording artists POD, The Accident Experiment (with Guitarist Marcos Curiel from POD), The Kottonmouth Kings, Mondo Generator (with Nick Oliveri formerly of Queens of The Stone Age), Nigel’s 11 (with Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC), and many others. Ernie has recorded with Artists ranging from Hard rock, Pop, Punk rock, Metal, Progressive rock, R&B, Hip Hop, Dance and Folk rock. Ernie has an expansive touring career spanning 20 years in over 30 countries. With his long time bands Sprung Monkey and The Accident Experiment, he has done tours along with The Offspring, Slightly Stupid, Kottonmouth kings, Sevendust, Silver Chair, Unwritten Law, Blink 182 and Pennywise to name a few. He has also played on major tours such as Warp tour, Ozzfest, Surf Skate Slam in Australia, and has also played the NHL All-Star Game half time show with Sprung Monkey. Ernie Longoria’s long time band, Sprung Monkey, has had music included in major motion pictures and soundtracks including Ten Things I Hate About You, Not Another Teen Movie, Dude Where’s My Car, Varsity Blues, National Lampoons Van Wilder and many more. He has also had music included in numerous television shows including Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Dawson’s Creek, MTV’s The Real World, So You Think You Can Dance, King Of The Hill and the list goes on. His personal television appearances include Buffy The Vampire Slayer and The Conan O’Brien Show, and some of his music videos have appeared on MTV (Get’em Outta Here) with Sprung Monkey. It is worth noting that Get’em Outta Here made it to number 13 on Billboard’s Modern Rock chart, and single Super Breakdown charted at 25 on their Active Rock chart. Ernie has recently started a new project called Occupier, formed from songs he has been writing for years. He is the primary songwriter, singer and of course drummer. Ernie has Sold over 400 thousand albums and counting throughout his career and is currently endorsed by Scorpion Percussion, Brady Drums, and Raen Optics.
