The best sticks I have ever put in my hands!

**Clint Coxwell | Scorpion Percussion Artist**

Clint Coxwell has been behind the drum kit since the age of nine, developing a lifelong passion for drumming, live performance, and the art of making music.

During his high school years, Clint played in the ’80s rock cover band **Cafe Flesh**, laying the foundation for what would become decades of performing and recording. His passion for drums eventually took him to **Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California**, where he had the privilege of studying under—and becoming friends with—two incredible musicians: renowned Afro-Cuban and jazz drummer **Maria Martinez** and **Ray Luzier**, drummer for **Korn**.

In the early 2000s, Clint became the drummer for Hollywood-based rock band **Shot to Hell**. The band performed extensively throughout Southern California and Las Vegas, including an appearance at a **NAMM after-party**, giving Clint the opportunity to be part of the thriving Southern California rock scene.

Today, Clint continues to do what he loves most—playing drums. He currently performs with **Bad BBQ**, a high-energy pop-punk cover band, and **Slightly Twisted**, a rock cover band based in Southern Oregon.

Whether he’s playing in front of a live crowd, working in the studio, or simply sitting behind the kit, Clint’s passion for drumming has never faded. Just as important to him is passing that passion along to the next generation. He enjoys mentoring young drummers and musicians, sharing the experience and knowledge he has gained throughout his musical journey.

For Clint, drumming has never been just about keeping time. It’s about energy, connection, creativity, and the feeling that happens when a band and an audience lock in together.

Clint is proud to represent **Scorpion Percussion** and to be part of a company that shares his passion for drummers and the craft of drumming.
