Chris " El Toro" LeFaiver is a veteran drummer and 20 year U.S. Coast Guard veteran based in the Charleston, South Carolina area. Known for his heavy metal and hard rock influences, he is a prominent figure in the local live music scene, often described as a seasoned expert at "holding down the backline".

Musical Projects & Roles: The River Mason Band: Chris was the drummer and provided backup vocals for this group, which specialized in a blend of Southern Rock and Outlaw Country. Paramount Junction: He performs with this full-band project currently, which recently kicked off the Spring Concert Series at Plyler Park in Myrtle Beach (March 2026). Other projects: Dark Theology (Atmospheric Doom), FLUX (Progressive Metal), Holding Onto Nothing ( Doom/ Sludge Metal), Tricky Sweet (Pop covers turned into metal) and Concrete Washout (acoustic rock and puck covers). Scorpion Percussion: He is a featured artist/partner with Scorpion Percussion, a brand that produces drumsticks and gear. 

Frequent Performance Venues: You can often find him performing at these Lowcountry spots: The Roost (West Ashley): Regularly hosts "Hard Rock Honkytonk Nights" featuring his bands. Mainland Container (Mount Pleasant): A frequent site for his Thursday night residency shows. The Washout and The Bounty Bar (Folly Beach): A common Saturday night venue for his live sets. 

Beyond performing, he is also active in the local community as an internet radio station on air personality for RoXXXstarRadio. He conducts interviews with musical acts, recently capturing performances at the Charleston Pour House and the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach.
