Bret Mastergeorge is a professional drummer and music educator ,with a reputation for consistency, musicality, and professionalism. His ability to keep rock steady time and morph between different genres has made him a trusted presence both on stage and in the studio.

Bret is an active performer in the New England music scene, currently playing with the original rock band Nuclear Wolf. The band has received regional and national recognition, including being named a finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition and earning a nomination for Best Upcoming Act at the New England Music Awards.

In addition to his original work, Bret is a sought-after stand-in drummer for high-level tribute acts, including Draw The Line, the only Aerosmith-endorsed tribute band. His ability to step into demanding roles with precision and energy has made him a reliable choice for professional touring and regional performances.

Bret has also played with The Ben Cote Band, led by the viral social media guitar virtuoso Ben Cote, which has shared the stage with nationally recognized artists such as Bret Michaels (Poison), Slaughter, and Great White.

Beyond performing, Bret is an accomplished music educator, holding a B.A. in Music and a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from Umass Boston. He is passionate about developing young musicians, bringing real-world performance experience into his teaching to inspire and prepare students for their own musical paths
