Danny started playing drums at age 11 and was performing in clubs throughout Northern California by age 13. At 17 he signed his first management contract in the band Dysfunktional Groove with Chaz Hayes Management (Spice1, E40) and also did session work for the agency. In 2002, Danny and his Sacramento-based band Pome signed a management deal with VelvetHammer Music Management (Deftones, System of a Down, Alice in Chains, Korn, Avenged Sevenfold) which ultimately led to a record deal with Atlantic Records. The project was short lived and after its demise, Danny decided to try on the lead singer role and formed the Sacramento-based band Sleepnoise with Joe Gonzalez (Cleanse, Pome) on guitar, Mike Arrieta (Simon Says) on bass, and Dave Buckner (Papa Roach) on drums. The group was starting to gain major label interest when unfortunate circumstances put the project on a permanent hiatus. After a break from music to focus on his fine art career, Danny was approached by Brian Corn of QUOR to help finish tracking their current record after losing their drummer. Danny laid down the drums for four tracks and became a permanent member in late 2021. Since joining QUOR, the progressive metal band has toured the west coast and Japan, signed a management deal with FM Music Management (Testament, Death Angel, Armored Saint, Saliva), and is looking forward to a full touring schedule in 2024. Danny is currently endorsed by Scorpion Percussion and is one of their brand ambassadors.
