I'm BJ Davidson, current drummer for metalcore band Ventruss from the swamps of Louisiana . I have dedicated 16 years to this craft of drumming. It has taken me down many walks of life I would have never imagined. I have experience with marching style performance and set playing in bands. I Started playing the classics like John Bonham, Bill Ward, and Ginger Baker, Ian Paice, and Todd Suchermann. As my music taste evolved, So did my playing. More modern drummers I have influence from are Chris Adler, Mario Duplantier, Alex Bent, and Morgan Rose. Honestly, this list could go on for days. I try to take all these influences and put my own spin on things. And that's exactly what you hear in Ventruss' music. I plan to continue growing as a musician until my hands can no longer hold the sticks! I proudly play DW Drums, Meinl Cymbals, and Axis pedals.
