My name is Andy Córdoba, and I was born in the city of Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am passionate about music and have been playing the drums for over 28 years. It's incredible how time flies when you do what you love. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate enough to be recognized by national and international brands such as Pacific Drums & Percussion PDP (USA), Arborea Cymbals (China), Williams Drumheads (Brazil), Research cases (Argentina), and currently Scorpion Percussion (USA), who have chosen me as an artist to represent them. It is an honor for me to have this brand support my career as well. Currently, I work as a session musician for live shows and studio recordings. I also share my knowledge as a drum educator in music institutes and through private lessons.I love to transmit my passion and help other drummers develop, which is why I continue to seek opportunities to grow and improve as a drummer, constantly learning and honing my skills. I believe it is important to care for and strengthen our drumming community and build strong connections among colleagues. That's why in 2020, I founded the collective of drummers called ATierra, which connects drummers from all over Argentina to exchange experiences in a constructive manner and facilitate access to knowledge with the premise that we can all learn from each other. I am grateful to be able to dedicate myself to the drums and excited about what the future holds for me. I will continue to work hard, enjoy every moment, and share my passion for music.
