Wheaton, AJ entered the world of drumming starting out in the gospel genre. Beginning with his family quartet group, ‘The Ft Worth Spiritual Aires’, and making his way through every genre imaginable. His musically inclined family’s influence of funk, jazz, rock and blues broadened his horizons and tastes for music. This influence and further life experience helped to bring about his self taught style and musicality that is widespread and sought out internationally. His career ranges from creating drum beats and laying tracks to unforgettable drumming performances across the globe. With his sticks in hand he has kept the beat in arenas, theaters, churches and stadiums. AJ exudes great showmanship and expresses a great passion for drums and the art of music.
