Del Rose is the current drummer for rock band 12 Stones and Nirvana tribute Smells Like Nirvana, actively touring with both. He previously drummed for Smile Empty Soul from 2018–2024, recording on five releases: Sheep (2019), 2020 (2020), Black Pilled (2021), The Loss of Everything (2022), and Swan Song (2025).
When not gigging, Del Rose is actively inspiring the next generation of drummers and percussionists through teaching at School of Rock in Mokena, Illinois, where he works with students of all ages and skill levels.
Del Rose was featured on Modern Drummer's “On The Beat” online blog in August 2016. He was also voted one of the top 10 “Drummers of the Year” on Rock Rage Radio's 2017 awards. Del Rose is no stranger to learning large catalogs of material on short notice and with a love for all things music and an appreciation for a wide variety of genres, Del Rose prides himself on delivering a solid, musical performance that’s sure to excite, elevate and most importantly, feel really, really good
