Sacramento, get ready to make some noise. Aftershock returns to Discovery Park October 1–4, 2026, and three members of the Scorpion Percussion artist family are part of the action: Mikey Cox with Coal Chamber, Bones Elias with The Union Underground, and Pete Hines with Cro-Mags.
Presented by Danny Wimmer Presents, the four-day festival brings rock, metal and hardcore fans together in California’s capital. For Scorpion, it’s a chance to celebrate the drummers behind the music—and encourage our community to show up for the artists carrying it to the stage.

We’re proud to have Mikey in the Scorpion family and to celebrate his appearance at Aftershock. For fans who want a closer look at his setup, his Scorpion artist profile features his 3A, ball-tip, 16-inch sticks with Venom Grip.

Bones brings a wide range of experience behind the kit, with a background that includes Dead by Sunrise, Julien-K and Kobra and the Lotus. At Aftershock, the spotlight is on his work with The Union Underground as the band takes its place in opening day’s lineup.
We’re excited to see Bones representing the Scorpion family in Sacramento. If you’re heading to the festival, put this set on your schedule and give the band some support from the crowd.
