New Signature Artist Launch, Limited Edition Gear, Elite Meet & Greets, and Record-Breaking Competition Energy
The 2026 NAMM Show was one for the books for Scorpion Percussion. From product launches and artist appearances to high-energy competition and giveaways, Hall C Booth 7632 became a must-stop destination for drummers all weekend long.
With over 1,000 visitors stopping by our booth, this year’s show reinforced what we value most — connection, performance, and pushing the limits of percussion innovation.

Introducing YAYO The Drummer & His Limited Edition Signature Sticks
One of the biggest moments of the show was officially introducing YAYO The Drummer to the Scorpion family.
We also unveiled his bold new Limited Edition YAYO-Yellow Venom Grip Signature Sticks — designed for players who demand precision, control, and unmistakable stage presence. The response was immediate. From first look to hands-on testing, drummers were lining up to feel the grip and balance for themselves.
The energy around this launch confirmed what we already knew: YAYO’s influence and playing style represent the next generation of high-performance percussion.

Meet & Greets That Packed the Booth
Our booth saw incredible traffic during exclusive meet & greets with:
Each session drew large crowds of fans, artists, and industry professionals eager to connect, talk gear, and celebrate the drumming community. The steady stream of attendees created one of the most energized environments we’ve had at NAMM to date.

Orbian Snare Drum Raffle Winner
We were proud to raffle off a custom snare drum crafted by Orbian.
Congratulations to Tony Kaliszewski of The Lycan Bite, our lucky winner. Moments like this are what NAMM is all about — supporting fellow musicians and giving back to the community that fuels us.

Fastest Hands at NAMM Competition Results
Our annual Fastest Hands at NAMM Competition once again became a major highlight of the show.
This year’s champion, Paul Huppler (Satori Sound System), delivered an incredible 1,582 strokes in 60 seconds, setting the bar extremely high and drawing a crowd that filled the aisle.
Competitors pushed their limits, spectators cheered them on, and the atmosphere embodied everything competitive drumming should be — technical, intense, and inspiring.
