Scorpion Percussion is proud to welcome pioneering vocalist, artist and author Burton C. Bell to our San Diego showroom for a special presentation of Obsolete By Word of Mouth on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
Created in recognition of a 30-year milestone, this intimate spoken-word event gives fans a rare opportunity to experience Burton’s stories and perspective in a setting far removed from a traditional concert venue. Attendance is limited to just 50 guests, creating a close, personal evening with one of industrial metal’s most distinctive voices.
An evening with Burton C. Bell
Burton C. Bell is known worldwide for helping shape the sound and identity of Fear Factory. His unmistakable vocal approach—moving between aggressive intensity and atmospheric melody—became a defining element of the band’s music and left a lasting mark on industrial and heavy metal.
Obsolete By Word of Mouth brings the focus to Burton’s words, memories and creative journey. Rather than a full production or live-band performance, the evening is centered on storytelling and direct connection with the audience.
Each ticket also includes an autographed program, giving attendees a keepsake from this limited-capacity San Diego appearance.
