Scorpion Percussion is proud to welcome Blake Allison, touring drummer for Pop Evil and founding member of Egypt Central and Devour the Day, to the Scorpion family.
A drummer, songwriter, and producer, Blake brings a combination of hard-hitting energy, deep groove, and musical instinct to everything he creates. From building songs in the studio to bringing them to life onstage, his approach centers on serving the music and connecting with the listener.
We’re excited to have Scorpion sticks in his hands.

Blake’s Choice: 3A Oval Tip, Natural Finish
Blake plays Scorpion Percussion Immortal Series 3A Oval Tip drumsticks with a Natural finish—a setup he chose for its balance, feel, and ability to keep up with his playing.
“I love the balance, feel, and especially the durability,” Blake explains. “They hold up incredibly well to my playing style, allowing me to play aggressively without constantly breaking sticks.”
Our Immortal Series gives drummers choices in diameter, length, tip, and finish to build a pair around their playing. Every pair is roll-tested, weight-matched within 2 grams, and pitch-matched, bringing consistency to the details that matter behind the kit.
For Blake, that means sticks that feel right and hold up when it’s time to dig in.
A Shared Connection Through Music
With nearly three decades of drumming experience, Blake understands that power is only part of the equation. Groove, dynamics, and connection give that energy somewhere to go.
“Music taught me discipline and the importance of connection,” he says. “It showed me the value of hard work while giving me a way to connect with people on a level that goes beyond words.”
That perspective makes this collaboration especially meaningful. Scorpion Percussion is built around the people holding our sticks—their work, their creativity, and the music they bring into the world. We’re proud to support Blake as he continues creating behind the kit and in the studio.
