"Scorpion Percussion caught my eye with "veteran owned." I grew up in a military family, so I decided to give them a try. I've played for over 20 years now using every major stick company's product and I'm excited to make the switch to Scorpion! Customer service is unmatched, and the sticks are great. A little bit heavier than the competitors of the same size, and they are made to order. They hold up like no other!"
For as long as I can remember, I always wanted to play drums, constantly tapping on any surface around me, disrupting my classes. I finally got my first drum kit when I was 11, and from then on a when a new chapter of my life started. I took some beginner lessons with Heather Brugioni at C.A. House (St. Clairsville, OH) and I’ll always give her credit for teaching me how to play and read basic beats. Later, I learned more from Jeff Stone at Edwards Music and Cape Fear Music Center (Fayetteville, NC) to further my understanding. I spent a lot of time just learning songs from my favorite bands, until eventually years later, I was writing my own songs with a number of bands. Previous projects include Tonic Immobility, Genosha, Dormiveglia, and a temporary fill-in for For All It’s Worth, all based out of NC. These projects gave me new life, and it’s all lead me to where I’m at, playing for a new project called “Sun Dweller” based out of the Ohio Valley. I’ve met many people, and made great friends that I would have otherwise never met if it had not been for that first drum kit, and I’ll be forever thankful for it!
