Born in Chicago, Illinois to a Navy family, I have lived all over the world, giving me the opportunity to experience many different musical cultures and genres. Music has always been my passion and my high school band director in Texas, Ron Wright, was a strong influence on my musical career from the beginning. I've been playing drums since 1981 and have performed all over the United States, Caribbean, Europe, Western Asia and North Africa. I joined the Navy right out of high school and retired after 28 years with the Navy Music Program where I had the opportunity to learn from and perform with some great musicians. Outside of military music, I've performed in many genres with a variety of bands including CC Express, Silverado, Rumours, Executive Steel, Desert Dust, Five Long Years, Bam Bam Betty and Eddie Domino. After moving around for the first 52 years of my life, my family and I found our forever home and settled down in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have an amazing wife, Christina (also a musician), three awesome children (Ryan, Daniel, Julian), two great stepchildren (Charlie, Matthew), and four beautiful grandchildren (Lilith, Zae, McKenna, Alexander).
