David Perez is a singer and drummer. David has been performing in the music industry since he was a child. He has performed all over the world on USO tours as well as numerous private, corporate and public events for the past 4 decades. In his early years his genre of music was mostly Tex-Mex and later more Salsa inspired. In the past decade plus he has taken over the family band, now in its 60th year, named for the original leader, the David Perez Band. David, the third, as he is often referred to as, has taken the band on a crossover journey to where it is today. The David Perez Band is one of the most professional, sought after and fun bands to hear in Northern California. Performing music in both English and Spanish, genres comprising of Tejano, Cumbias, Reggaeton, Latin Rock, Country, R&B, and Old School, David is able to turn any gig into a special event. As a military dad, David is honored to be a part of the Scorpion Percussion family, a veteran owned company.
