The Emperor 737 is built for one purpose: getting your hands ready before you hit the stage, rehearsal room, or recording studio.
At .737" in diameter and 16" long, the Emperor is substantially wider and heavier than any other stick in the Scorpion lineup. With a double-butt design, both ends provide the same oversized grip, giving you a unique warm-up tool that puts considerably more demand on your hands and forearms than a conventional drumstick.
The idea is simple: warm up with something heavier and more substantial than what you normally play, then switch to your regular sticks when you're ready to perform. The Emperor gives your hands an opportunity to progressively engage before you start playing at full intensity.
Its oversized diameter also gives you a completely different grip experience. You can work through controlled exercises, rudiments, rolls, and other warm-up patterns while focusing on grip, control, and movement without the distraction of playing an actual instrument.
The Emperor 737 is a warm-up tool, not a drumstick. It is intentionally oversized and heavy, and it is not designed or intended to be used on drums, cymbals, or other musical instruments. Use it for warm-up exercises only.
When it's time to play, put the Emperors down, pick up your regular sticks, and get to work.
