Victor Vineet Kumar was born and raised in India (Hyderabad) and currently resides in Chicago. At the age of 6, his musical journey started by admiring his father Alfred Alexander; who was a versatile drummer of his time, he would stare at his father’s drum kit that looked like a huge alien machine, looking at the drum kit itself was a great self-retreat. He gradually started his interest in music by playing the Bongos in his neighborhood Sunday school. By the age of 13, he was offered to play the drums on an electronic drum pad in a ministerial band by a friend from school. He later joined another ministerial band called BLOOD, where he started playing at local churches and different cities, around that time he and his friends from blood, went on to form WRECKAGE, a band which was versatile in playing different styles of music, mainly hard rock and metal.The band went on to take part in regional and national rock competitions and being aired on MTV and VH1 across major cities in India. After moving to the US – Chicago he played drums for The Danny Hill project (PSR), Nu Millenium and 90’s rock act Grunge Candy. He currently plays with VOID THE LIGHT and has released 3 albums titled ‘Speaking with Gods. He uses 7A | Oval |16.5 | Lacquer drumsticks.
